1. Water: A Recurring Crisis
WATER IS ESSENTIAL FOR LIFE, yet, more than one billion people lack access to clean drinking water. In 31 countries, people face water scarcity, and water sources are rapidly being polluted and depleted. It is estimated that by 2025, two-thirds of the world’s population will face water shortages.
Instead of working to help those without water, the world’s largest corporations seek to privatize this precious resource and to manipulate governments into letting them profit from water. So, the question is, "Who owns the water?"
